Kata Beach
Formerly a fishing village, Kata beach now developed in an harmony with nature to meet the needs of a modern tourist destination. The beach in Kata is one of the best in the whole Phuket and is divided in two parts: Kata Yai (big bay) and Kata noy (small bay) divided by a small promontory.
The small island Koh Pu is at swimming distance from the beach, separated from the beach by a colourful coral reef. |
