Kata Beach by Night
Kata is formed by some narrow roads lined with shops, restaurants, dive shops , pub, and hotels. The beach in front of it is large and clean. It´s just a few kilometres from Patong to Karon and it takes about 15 minutes going slowly on a motorbike. A few minutes more and you will be at the Kata and Kata Noi beaches. It is possible to find bars and some entertainment in both Kata and Karon, but not on the same intense level as Patong.

As beaches go both Kata and Karon are better than Patong, a bit quieter, with less nightlife and entertainment. |
